Major Artistic Project

MU692 is the culmination of the degree and involves students collaboratively creating and curating a new work/program or reimagining pre-existent work(s). The live performance will include key elements of public musicianship: interactive materials, spoken or projected introductions, inclusive language, and attention to positionality. If other performance art forms such as theatre, sound design, visual projection or dance are incorporated, the student must engage credibly and with respect to that art form’s disciplinary standards. The Major Artistic Project is a public performance; the venue of which is not limited to ‘traditional’ performance venues/spaces/and/or contexts.
